Experience art at the LUDWIGGALERIE Schloss Oberhausen!

The Schloss Oberhausen has been home to the LUDWIGGALERIE Schloss Oberhausen since 1998. It is located by the popular Kaisergarten with its animal enclosure and by the bridge sculpture "Slinky Springs To Fame" by Tobias Rehberger, as well as within walking distance of the Gasometer.

The LUDWIGGALRIE attracts people interested in art - especially from the Peter and Irene Ludwig Collection - comics, photography and landmarks in the Ruhr region with its varied temporary exhibitions.

The Large Palace shows three extensive exhibitions on these topics every year. In the Kleines Schloss (Small Castle), the varied shop invites you to browse, even on Sundays, and the LeseCafé invites you to enjoy a hot drink - also "to go". In the panorama gallery and the cabinet there, more regionally influenced positions are shown parallel to the main exhibition. Admission to the Kleines Schloss is free and it is always worth a visit.

In the immediate vicinity of the LUDWIGGALERIE Schloss Oberhausen and in the adjacent Kaisergarten, you will find a wide variety of sculptural works of art that are well worth exploring.
