    The comeback of the year!

    The Metronom Theater Oberhausen has a long tradition as a stage for international musical productions - "Tabaluga & Lilly", "Wicked", "Dance of the Vampires", "Phantom of the Opera", "Tarzan" or shows such as the "Blue Man Group" are just a few examples from the past that have thrilled millions of visitors in the Ruhr metropolis. Following a comprehensive modernization of the building, the new operator Semmel Concert GmbH has been focusing on musical moments and great emotions at the location again since the end of 2024. "The Spirit of Christmas" will premiere at the glamorous reopening, followed by "Elisabeth", "Grease" and "The Magic Flute". The new concept in the schedule is a mix of individual events by international show stars and touring productions of successful musicals.
